Congratulations to British model Abbey Clancy and her soccer star fiancé Peter Crouch who welcomed a baby girl on Monday night (March 13).
Their bundle of joy was born at Portland Hospital in London and weighed in at 7 lbs. 9 oz.
A friend told the Daily Mail, "Mother and daughter are doing brilliantly. Abbey and Peter are over the moon. They haven't picked a name yet, but they are completely in love with her."
Clancy, 25, recently said in an interview that she thought she was expecting a boy.
She admitted, "I think it's a boy from looking at the scans... it's too boisterous to be a girl!'
The couple got engaged in July 2009 after dating for three years. Last year it was reported that Peter had cheated on Abbey causing stress in the early days of her pregnancy. However, throughout the scandal she stood by him.
She later said, "It's weird how you can go from your whole life being perfect - and that excludes living in a nice house and having all that - just being so happy with someone who's your best friend and then a baby, a miracle."

It will be no more black clothing for Abbey Clancy now that she's a yummy mummy. The stylish new mum tells Now: 'If I see another pair of leggings, I'm going to die. "I've lived in black for the past eight months, so I'll be wearing colour all summer."
Abbey has relied on a wardrobe of 20 jersey dresses and leggings – from the likes of H&M and Primark – throughout her pregnancy.
